Ingredients:

16 oz split peas
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 bay leaves
1 onion, chopped
garlic powder

​

Directions:

In a large pot, add peas, onion, 12 C water, bay leaves, and garlic powder


Simmer, uncovered, 1.5 hours

 

Remove bone and bay leaf

 

Add carrots and simmer 2.5 hours

 

Blend if desired
