Ingredients:

1 medium onion, chopped

almond milk

2 bay leaves

6 cloves

1 loaf white bread

Directions:

Saute onion in a bit of butter substitute until translucent.

 

Pour about 2-3in of almond milk into a medium-sized saucepan. Add onion, crumbled bread, bay leaves, and cloves.

 

Simmer (do not boil) on low for 1 hour. Add milk as needed throughout.
